The Cité de Pierres via ferrata routes are well worth the effort!
These are some of the most spectacular in the Aveyron and Lozère departments, at the entrance to the Cévennes, easy to get to by car, 15km from Millau, close to the Tarn and Jonte gorges, Larzac and the Millau viaduct.
Two routes, two difficulty ratings
Under the supervision of qualified climbing instructors (National Certificate) with a twin safety system suitable for all users.
Family Via Ferrata route
This Via Ferrata has been specially designed for children over 8 years of age, but it also suitable for families of all ages. The difficulty rating is easy, it is aerial but remains at a restricted height above the ground, ideal for the first time.
There are 3 zip-lines (30 to 50 m) and it passes through the highest point of the Cité de Pierres where there is a 360° panoramic view.

Sports Via Ferrata route
This is a truly exceptional Via Ferrata course, beginning underground then rising into the air, interspersed with several zip-lines which offer extreme sensations and panoramic views across the Grands Causses. One of the most impressive via ferratas in Millau, the large Via Ferrata of the Cité de Pierres rises above the site in a very dramatic way and promises a wealth of sensation.
