Guided visit by miniature train

Discover la Cité de Pierres in comfort (families with children, seniors…), the Montpellier-le-Vieux miniature train offers a guided tour lasting almost an hour covering the history of the “Cité”.

• Guided tour in French by the driver.
• A video projection in the ‘baume obscur’ (rock shelter) to discover the “Cit锑s 7 key attractions and a stop off at the ‘Citerne’ roundabout to visit the emblematic ‘Porte de Mycènes.
• A number of daily departures: check the timetables, reservation recommended.

The Montpellier-le-Vieux miniature train follows a 1.5 km long track that goes right through the heart of la Cité de Pierres.

You will be able to admire the site’s emblematic attractions passing through the ‘Cirque des Millières’ and the ‘Cirque des Rouquettes’ to finish at the ‘Citerne’ roundabout. From the roundabout it is very easy to walk to the legendary ‘Porte de Mycènes’.

There are possible drop-off points for those who would like easier access to the Giants and Magnificent paths, and the possibility to get off at the roundabout and return later on in the day (subject to seat availability).

A one-way return option is also possible for those who want to head out on the trails on foot (subject to seat availability).
